Is the Joint Managing Partner and heads the audit division of the firm. He has experience of over 36 years in various areas of professional practice including audit and handling accounting of small and medium enterprises. Mr. Chinoy has extensive experience in internal and statutory audit of banks including the Reserve Bank of India and has also conducted audits of insurance companies, public sector undertakings, asset management companies, housing finance companies SEBI inspection audits and schemes of mutual funds.

Mr. Chinoy has conducted due diligence reviews of specified schemes of UTI Mutual Fund. He is also nominated as a member of External Advisory Committee constituted by Reserve Bank of India for evaluating applications received for grant of registration to Asset Reconstruction Company. He is also a member of Internal Advisory Committee constituted by Asset Reconstruction Company for approving their One Time settlement proposals. Mr. Chinoy is also a qualified Information Systems Auditor (DISA).

BHUPENDRA NAGDA, 52

Joined C&J in April 1997 and has been a partner since December 2004. Bhupendra has experience of over 29 years in various areas of professional practice including statutory audits of listed public companies and private limited companies in sectors such as service industry, financial sector, IT, shipping and manufacturing. He has extensive experience in statutory audits of schemes of mutual funds. He has led audits for a wide range of entities, from SMEs to fully listed companies.

Has technical expertise in Indian GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards (equivalent to IFRS) and has also undertaken various due diligence assignments and investment inspection of insurance companies on behalf of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.

With a strong background in overseeing global group audits, Bhupendra excels at collaborating with international subsidiaries and external auditors. He offers valuable commercial perspective and strategic insight, supporting clients in addressing complex challenges and making well-informed choices.

AMBESH DAVE, 56

Joined C&J in April 1998 and has been a partner since November 2007. Ambesh has over 30 years’ experience in various areas of professional practice including the statutory audit, internal audit, concurrent audit and treasury audit of listed public companies, private limited companies and Government Pension / Provident Funds.

Has extensive experience of audits of entities in various sectors such as financial sector activities including stock broking, housing finance, insurance, assets reconstruction, public, private and co-operative sector banks, including Reserve Bank of India, schemes of mutual funds, manufacturing, shipping, electricity, infrastructure, oil and natural gas companies, educational institute. Has also conducted inspection of various mutual funds on behalf of SEBI and has experience in tax audit, VAT audit and transfer pricing.

He had been nominated as a co-opted member of Auditing and Assurance Standard Committee and Members in Practice Committee of WIRC of ICAI for 2023-24 to 2024-25 and 2025-26 respectively. He has also been nominated as a member of Depositors Education and Awareness (DEA) Fund Committee of Reserve Bank of India for 2025-26.
